Governor lauds Interlocutor Ravi , NSCN (I-M)

R.N. Ravi Interlocuter with Nagaland Governor P.B Acharya
DIMAPUR (NPN)Interlocutor for Naga peace talks, R.N. Ravi who arrived on Wednesday called on Nagaland Governor P.B. Acharya at the Raj Bhavan, Kohima. 

According to a DIPR report, Governor congratulated Ravi for solving the intricate issue and the NSCN (I-M) for signing of the frame work of the peace agreement. 

Acharya also expressed satisfaction that Nagaland government had requested Government of India to hold talks with other groups who have signed the ceasefire agreement. He said it was “logical and necessary to incorporate their views in the frame work of the peace agreement”. 

Acharya said even before the peace agreement was signed, he had spoken to the Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh that “talks should inclusive involving all groups”. Acharya said both the Home minister and Interlocutor had been meeting all the groups including civil societies, NGOs, Naga Hoho, Naga Mother Association and others to take their views.

The Governor assured that his government along with all the 60 legislators would work hard with trust in order to usher in an honourable implementation of all the clauses of the agreement.

He said time has come for everyone including students, youths and mothers in particular to be ready to usher in a peaceful and developed Nagaland. Acharya was positive that Nagaland within few years would become peaceful, economically strong and rich to march along with other states to make India a great country.
