Mobile Internet services suspended in Manipur

IMPHAL(CNS): The State Government has  shut down the mobile internet service to concerns of rumour-mongering and crowd mobilization through  social networking site Facebook and messenger service WhatsApp .

According to an official source, Facebook and WhatsApp services on BSNL and Aircel have been blocked from today.

Other mobile service providers would also block the two services soon, the source said.
