Modi will not last long : Manipur JD(U)

IMPHAL: Janata Dal (United) while celebrating the landmark victory of Grand Alliance in general elections in Bihar Assembly Sunday the defeat has confirmed that Modi wave will not last long in India.

The defeat that BJP and NDA partners in recent elections in New Delhi and now in Bihar has showed that popularity of Modi was no more in the country, claimed JD(U) Manipur unit president M Tombi. Talking to reporters at its office at Babupara, Imphal in connection with the Bihar election result, Tombi added that BJP was playing in communal politics on food habit of various people. Such communal politics led the BJP defeated in the elections. The party will also suffer defeat in the upcoming by-poll in two Assembly seats in Manipur scheduled on November 21, Tombi predicted. The party celebrated the victory of JD(U) and its Grand Alliance in Bihar by distributing sweets and edibles to the people in Imphal.
