India, Russia joint exercises of airborne troops in March: Kremlin
MOSCOW: (UNI) India and Russia will hold joint exercises of airborne troops in March, the Kremlin announced today.
"The delegation of the Russian Airborne troops has arrived in Pune in India, where it will take part in the third conference on holding the joint peacekeeping exercises scheduled for the first quarter of 2016," an official statement said here.
In November 2015, the two countries held the joint 'Indra' exercise on counter-terrorism. In mid-December, joint India-Russia naval drills took place in the Bay of Bengal to practice the protection of surface ships.
