National Integration Tour Team Flagging off at Jwalamukhi

IMPHAL: Commander, Senapati Brigade flagged off a twelve days National Integration Tour organised by Jwalamukhi Battalion under the aegis of Red Shield Division on 28 Jan 16.

Speaking on the occasion the Commander said that the tour is planned keeping in mind the idea of National Integration.  The tour will assist the fragile and tender minds of students in comprehending the vast diversity, traditions and vibrant customs of the country.  The tour would include visit to important places in Allahabad and Varanasi to include Allahabad Fort, AnandBhawan, TrieveniSangam, KhusruBagh, Allahabad Museum, Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Ramnagar Fort, KashiVidyapeeth and Archeological Museum at Varanasi. The interaction planned with the distinguished personalities will not only motivate the young minds but will also help the students to draw inspiration from these distinguished personalities.  The student to student interaction will also provide a platform for exchange of ideas and thoughts, thereby giving a boost to the self confidence and overall outlook towards life  of the students of Senapati district.   

The Commander also praised the children and the teachers for showing keen interest and enthusiasm for the tour. He advised  the children to take full advantage of this opportunity to imbibe new ideas  and further added that our children should also bring out the rich culture and heritage of Manipur while interacting with others.  Such study cum National integration tours are an unique way of groming& improving the personality of students.   It will also open their minds for various career prospects and self development avenues in the Country. The Commander, Senapati Brigade said that these children are the priceless assets and are the future of the nation.  We all need to support and encourage them in whatever measures it is possible to provide them opportunities and mould them into independent human beings.
